The night sky was lit up with a thousand stars
Ch Ch Ch, the popping in your ear
Colors everywhere for you to see,
Red, white, blue.
The night smelled cheerful
Sweet like candy
Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Yellow
Glittering.
Fireworks flashed bright in the sky
Blasting high in circles, umbrellas, the American Flag.
They look like stars
They look like candy
They look bright.
It's a great big Pinata in the sky.
